Energy rights and renewable energy

The Firm has proven experience in agreements relevant to the construction of renewable energy plants (EPC, O&M, supply, sub-contracts, etc.), financing contracts with private lenders, institutional investors and investment funds, projects and plant purchase and sale agreements, brokerage agreements, development agreements, disposal agreements.

Among the most significant operations:

• assistance to an Italian qualified operator (in joint venture with another important Italian company operating in the energy field) in the acquisition of a wind farm in Calabria and in the negotiation of the related agreements;
• start-up, assistance in corporate planning and preparation of agreements for a listed company, leader in the production of photovoltaic wafers and modules, and assistance in the establishment and start-up of companies operating in the various European territories;
• assistance to various European companies operating in the field of renewable energy (wind, water, cogeneration);
• preparation of the legal due diligence relevant to projects for approximately 60 MW in Europe, of which 20 MW in Italy, and assistance for the relevant development agreements.
