Work contract

Work contract

Regulatory Ref. art.1655 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.

It is an agreement by which a party (contractor) undertakes, organising the necessary resources and with a management at his own risk, the fulfilment of a work or the performance of a service, for a payment in cash that the other party (purchaser) is obliged to pay. The work contract is used when a subject cannot or does not want to perform the work relevant to a work or service. Therefore, in order to carry out the work, the above entrusts an enterpriser that, with its organisation, undertakes to perform the work for the payment of a price. It can be public or private.
