Sponsoring
It is the agreement by which a party, usually represented by a company (sponsor), in order to advertise its name, image or certain products, finances the other party, usually a sports association, or individual athletes, obtaining, as consideration, the undertaking of an obligation to advertise. The cornerstone of the transaction is, therefore, represented by the exploitation of the image of others for advertising purposes. It is an atypical agreement, in return for payment and corresponding services, whose legitimacy depends on the merit of the interests pursued by the parties.
