Preliminary agreement
Regulatory Ref. art. 1351 - 1470 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.
It is an agreement by which the promissory seller undertakes to transfer the ownership of the property, for the payment of a price, to the promissory buyer. The preliminary agreement clearly indicates the information of the parties, characteristics and cadastral data of the property, the cost, payment procedures and execution date of the deed. The parties undertake the commitment or obligation, respectively, to sell and purchase the house and commit to enter into a new agreement called the final purchase and sale agreement, by which, exclusively, the transfer of ownership will take place..
