Contract of sale or return
Regulatory Ref. art.1556 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.
Agreement by which one party (tradens) delivers one or more moveable things to the other (accipiens), with the latter committing to pay the price, unless it returns the items within the established time limit. This type of agreement is used by those wishing to have goods on hand in order to sell the same, but, without undertaking the risk that the same remain unsold. It is generally used for sales of newspapers and precious objects.
